WebCT Login Instructions
The following list of instructions will help you through the log in process for CEE 6930.

or call (435) 797-8000. Hint: Print
this page or open a new window by pressing Ctrl + n.
Opening a new window will allow you to toggle between the two windows and enable you to read the
instructions while creating your new account.
Things of Note:
- Internet Explorer 5.x or Netscape 4.7x or better is required for the use
of Webct.
- Java must be enabled.
- Your "User Name" is your "Global ID."
- The Global ID (User Name) and Password are case sensitive.
- The username and password will be sent to you by email at the address you
gave the Junior Engineering Program Coordinators.
- If you already have a Global ID and Password you will not be sent a new
one. Use the old one.
- If you don't know if you have one, then you don't.
- Save your Global ID (User Name) and Password.
- After you finish your WebCT session, i.e. finish taking tests or finish
reading, close your browser by clicking on the word "File" in the top left corner of your browser and choosing "Exit" at
the bottom of the menu. If you don't exit the browser in this manner it is
possible for someone else to take tests on your account.
Steps for Logging into WebCT.

Click here to begin the log in process.

Click on "Log on to WebCT".
- Enter your "Global ID" (User Name) and password.
- Your User Name is the Global ID you were emailed.
- Use the password that you were sent.
Click on "6930 Junior Engineering" in the upper left corner of the page.
You are now in CEE 6930.
When you are finished with your WebCT session you must exit completely out of your
browser (Netscape / Internet Explorer).
Next time you log on to WebCT use the "Log-on to WebCT" button and not the WebCT Help button.
